Jordi Roca is the youngest of the Roca brothers, the family dedicated to the art of cuisine, recognised worldwide and forever established in Girona.
Jordi embraces desserts and confectionery in the same way that the rays of light fall on the Mediterranean. He describes it as “light falling in a friendly and calm way”. Maybe that’s why eating his desserts is such a gentle and permanent experience. It makes you want to search his creations for the references he makes to nature and the environment he grew up in. His particular way of seeing things, the need to materialise the life that surrounds us on a plate, which only he can perceive in that way, is enthralling.
